How To Make Hyaluronic Acid Solution For Serum Preparation – Project 49 (Demonstration Video)
Commercial Hyaluronic serums are made with solution of sodium hyaluronate.
Most Indie skincare brands make a big mistake by using raw sodium hyaluronate powder in their formulation.
In my years of experience formulating for top skincare brands, we use hyaluronic acid solution up to 40% to make a cost effective serum.
In this video below, I demonstrated how to make Hyaluronic Acid serum solution in preparation for our upcoming serum project.
Below is the formula we used to make 100gram of this solution.
- Distilled Water – (97.5g) 97.5%
- Low Molecular Weight Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid Powder) – (2g) 2%
- Liquid Germall Plus – (0.5g) 0.5%
I didn’t use any gel for this because it is a solution to make both gel serum and liquid serum.
Stay tuned for our next two projects (Gel Serum Formulation and Liquid Serum Formulation).
