1. Ability to make basic emulsions like lotion and cream, skincare products like balm, salves, gels, facial oils, body butter,etc, if you don’t know these, register for our Professional Program.
2. Know how to work with formulas and how to calculate the percentage and weight of your ingredients, if you don’t know this, you can learn more at our Cosmetic Formulation Tips section.
3. This program is not for a beginner, you must know how to work with emulsifiers, gums like xanthan gum, solubilizers, preservatives ,emollients like glycerin and basic surfactants.
4. Have the working knowledge of essential oils
5. Understanding of water phase, oil phase and cool down phases of cosmetic formulation.
